Tom Shucheng Yu is a filmmaker from Chengdu, Sichuan. He graduated from the Department of Film and Television Technology at Beijing Film Academy and is currently pursuing an MFA in Film Production at Loyola Marymount University.

With a technical background spanning cinematography, editing, color, and sound, Tom works across multiple areas of filmmaking, with writing and directing at the center of his creative practice. His films explore the quiet complexities of everyday life with curiosity and honesty.
